Day #3 Recap: Presence Conference 2012 @ River of Glory
“Pure music surrounds the throne of God. [It’s like] the speakers are moving in your house as you watch TV.”
Words from John Paul Jackson about an angelic experience as he opened the final day of the Presence Conference 2012 at River. Mr. Jackson treated the crowd to more about his very own trip to Heavenly places by further describing the atmosphere around the throne of the Most High. Incidentally, this wasn’t part of his prepared message. He had listened to the worship team rock the house and felt compelled to tell the audience about the sounds, and colors, of Heaven.
Not gonna lie, my pen and my brain weren’t fast enough to catch everything. Had I been gifted with graphic arts talent, perhaps following the different color wheel and chart illustrations would’ve been easier and not blown my mind, but, alas, I’m a writer. So, for my recap on his description, here goes nothin’…
There are four color systems. Three here, one in Heaven. There’s the “artist color” pallet. This consists of 7 colors and 24 hues on its color wheel. Then you have the “publication/CMYK” pallet. This, also, consists of 7 colors and 24 hues. One must assume these colors vary from the artist pallet in some way. Then there’s the “RGB” (red-green-blue) pallet and its “additive color spectrum.” Finally, there’s the “Internal Color Rainbow” – the one in Heaven – that has colors that haven’t ever graced this planet…yet.
It was this last color collection that radiated from, and circled around, the throne of God. And like the other color wheels, this one also has 24 hues, but with a twist. Each color ring – which encircled the throne like you’d picture an atom – had its own accompanying musical tone. For a better idea on what I think Mr. Jackson was talking about concerning the atom look, take a gander at this:
But with 24 of those rings instead of one…two…three…four rings. And they played a musical note. And since the rings are spinning, not every note came from the same place every time. You’d hear a note up top, then you’d hear it again down low. Hence the “moving speakers” idea Mr. Jackson gave.
So, light, color and sound are emanating from God all the time. His throne resembles an atom which is cool because its essentially a bunch of those things glued together by sound waves that holds the world – us included – together. If my science is off, remember that I’m a writer.
One last note about the colors and the 24 hues surrounding God. Mr. Jackson made an interesting observation concerning a certain 24 elders mentioned in Revelation 4:4:
“Around the throne were C)’>twenty-four elders E)’>white garments, and A)’>earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of
