“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (See 2 Corinthians 5:17) This is awesome. The old things have passed away. Old things such as: our past sins, our past indiscretions, our past ways of doings things the wrong way, and our past skewed mindsets. Accepting/following/believing in Christ has broken the mental strongholds placed on our minds and set us free to be new creatures, or creations, where we get to experience new, righteous, awesome, Holy things because of it. We died with Jesus on the cross and got to go for a ride with Him as He defeated death in hell. Our spirits have been ironed out. Our souls have been scrubbed and set straight. Our bodies have been made clean. We have been made presentable to the Lord!
