“math can be fun” – Proverbs 18:12
“Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes honor.” (See Proverbs 18:12) Maybe you’ve heard it this way: “Pride goes before the fall.” (Or “goeth before the fall.”) Either way, you fall or get destroyed after you exhibit overt pride. Humbleness, however, showing that you feel “less than or equal to” – to use a math phrase – means others won’t take offense, but rather take notice. Of your selfless nature, that is. It’s an honorable thing. Being humble.
