Marvel just announced that it will be releasing a series of comics from Star Wars: The Force Awakens based on the film. Comicbookresources.com has the details on the comic series–check it out:

“‘The Force Awakens’ knocked our socks off from the very first time we saw it, and we could not wait to start being able to play with these new, awesome characters!” editor Jordan D. White told CBR. “Now, we get to bring all of them to the pages of our comics with an adaptation of the film we loved so much! We’re all fans first, so it’s all love that is bringing these pages to life!”

This is going to be a five-issue run starting this June. I am personally very excited for this, though I feel this series should have started in January and not June. The art looks fantastic for this series. Check out some images for it below.
