Yea, your Christian walk is tough. Sure, your life isn’t roses and lollipops. You aren’t a millionaire. But, you know what, Jesus wasn’t rich or beloved on earth either! He suffered for us, so now we must suffer a little for Him. Can we have a great life though? Yep. Is it possible to be crazy successful, be rich AND be a Christian? Yep. But, as believers, do our lives – rich, poor, or otherwise – need to include spreading the Gospel. Double yep. Our suffering now means much comfort later.

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.”– 1 Peter 4:12-13
