After talking to a few people, we’ve ascertained that the Episode VIII footage shown was the video we’ve already seen of Rian Johnson shooting Rey and Luke at Skellig Michael. Disney’s Alan Horn made a joke that the release title should be coming soon.

The Rogue One content was just photos showing off the new sidekick droid: K-2S0.

Alan Horn apparently teased Darth Vader “The world’s most famous villains; some of which you may know and some of which you may not”.

The License Expo in Los Angles just took place and the editor and chief of Collider, Steven Weintraub, is claiming that Episode VIII footage was shown there that might be shown at Star Wars Celebraion in London in less than 3 weeks. Check out what Steven had to say:

Ok so first off, I totally think some Episode VIII footage was shown, now whether or not that will be the same footage shown at Celebration is up in the air. I do think we will see Episode VIII footage along with a title during Celebration, but that’s just my personal opinion. Steven also says that Rogue One footage was shown and that it looked great:

So there you have it folks, we may be seeing Episode VIII footage (teaser trailer?) in 3 weeks during Star Wars Celebration. I would imagine we will also be seeing a second Rogue One trailer. Take this as speculation until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
