Yesterday we let you know the actors portraying Admiral Ackbar and the mighty Chewbacca canceled their con appearances, probably because of Star Wars: Episode VIII. Now today, our buddy at the Blue Harvest Podcast has let us know it has happened again. This time the Resistance’s Nien Nunb (played by Mike Quinn) has cancelled:

You might recall that Mike Quinn made it pretty clear he was likely returning when he was on the The First Order Transmissions podcast recently. It now appears they had a scoop of pretty good proportions on their hands.

Hopefully Nien Nunb keeps that radar dish on the Falcon in this film. I personally always blamed Nien–not Lando–for the Falcon’s damage in Return of the Jedi. It was the co-pilot’s job to make sure that kind of stuff doesn’t happen.

It is cool to hear that Nien will be back along with Chewbacca and Admiral Ackbar. Hopefully we have news on Jessika Pava soon…
