Chewbacca and Unkar Plutt disagree in this Star Wars: The Force Awakens deleted scene
Entertainment Weekly has a new deleted scene from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In the scene, Unkar Plutt has followed the Millennium Falcon to Maz’s castle and Plutt tries to start some trouble with Rey. View the video below and the rest of the article at EW. After the Falcon is located by Han Solo and Chewbacca, who say its reactivation allowed them to track it, Han tells Finn and Rey that others might be able to follow its trail as well. That sets up the logic for Plutt’s arrival at Maz Kanata’s castle on the planet Takodana, where Plutt corners Rey and begins issuing threats.
The newly emboldened scavenger draws her weapon, but Plutt quickly snatches it away, only to find himself picked on by someone who definitely isn’t Plutt’s own size — Chewbacca.
The wounded Wookiee looms large, but Plutt is undaunted, literally poking the space bear. The clip above ends at that point, but on the new 3-D Blu-ray disc (out Nov. 15) it continues a little longer.
