Variety spoke to Daisy Ridley about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With the movie being released, Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII came up. They asked Ridley if she had read Johnson’s script to which she replied:

I have. It’s very good; very good. Let’s see “VII” first and then we’ll talk about “VIII.” [Laughs.]

With the movie filming in less than a month’s time, it isn’t exactly huge news she read the script. But it is comforting and cool to know it exists. It is kind of crazy to think that a movie we just saw this week already has a sequel written. It is so surreal, but really freakin’ rad. And while it isn’t exactly crazy to hear an actor praise a film they’re about to star in, she does seem like she believes in it.

I’m most excited for Rian Johnson’s film, overall. I think he’s going to make an amazing Star Wars film.
