It turns out that Daisy Ridley is NOT going to be filling at the Dubrovnik set for Star Wars: Episode VIII. This was confirmed by Daisy herself during a BBC interview. That being said, we still don’t know what actors will be filming and what the context of that scene will be. The guys over at Jedi News also alert us to a name of a character from Episode VIII: actor Lamin Tamba is listed as playing “Daika” on the Star Now casting website. Most likely it is just a smaller role at most, but only time will tell.
