Empire is reporting that Gwendoline Christe has confirmed that Captain Phasma is returning in Star Wars Episode VIII. That was also confirmed by Kathleen Kennedy a few months ago. Check out a quote from Empire:

“Walking the red carpet at Saturday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, Christie was asked by People magazine whether Phasma will be back for more threatening, chrome-armoured antics in Episode VIII. “I will be in the next Star Wars movie. I think that’s an exclusive, actually,” she replied, giving hope to everyone who wants to see how much of a badass Phasma can be.”

It’ll be cool to see Phasma return with a vengeance in Star Wars Episode VIII. Hopefully we see a Finn vs. Phasma duel!
