Recently we heard that Star Wars: Episode VIII would film in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Shortly afterward,  The Dubrovnik Times confirmed what we heard. Now they have a little more information stating their mayor is headed to the United States:

The Mayor of Dubrovnik Andro Vlahusic is on an official visit to the United States where he will meet representatives of the producers of Star Wars, LucasFilm.

They also say he might meet with George Lucas, which sounds a little iffy to me. Still, if the report is accurate, it is another piece of confirmation on the Dubrovnik filming for Star Wars: Episode VIII.
