The most interesting news of the day pertained to seeing some extras that look like Ralph McQuarrie-designed space cops from the film. It also appears that the speeder we’ve been seeing for the last few days is the design used for a type of security or police speeder.

There are many rumors of people seeing Mark Hamill, but so far none have really panned out. If you recall Daisy Ridley said she would not be in Dubrovnik, but we know her stunt double is. Chloe Bruce, Daisy Ridley’s stunt double/stand-in has arrived in Dubrovnik, which makes Rey’s appearance on the location highly likely even if Daisy Ridley doesn’t film there. It makes me think Hamill being on the set seems unlikely unless they need his face for a shot but are going to use her double for the shots they get. Mark Hamill is Luke Skywalker and that’s like being a Beatle. I kind of think we’d have a lot of evidence for him being in the region by now. However, you never know, right?

Our friend in Dubrovnik has sent us a little update:

scenographic effects will take place intermittently on numerous public areas in the old municipal nucleus as of today up to Sun., Mar. 13, 2016 (4:00 p. m. – 6:00 a. m.);
for the sake of stunts, even some tributary alleys will also be closed for any form of pedestrian and vehicular traffic (in 15-minute intervals);
beautiful and popular Banje beach is also scheduled as one of the shooting locations.
