Our friend Gemma Clark, an excellent photographer in Malin Head, captured some fun photos of the Star Wars: Episode VIII production rolling into the area and setting up offices and roads.

Gemma says:

They include the arrival of the first production office and subsequently all of them set up.  The final image is where they are making the temporary road out to the area where I presume they are shooting which unfortunately you cannot see from land and like what happened in Kerry during the filming of VII they are having a boat ban around the area.

Early rumors suggest they may be filming the heroes reaching the coast but at this point details are ambiguous. More to come soon!
