Rian Johnson just tweeted out that they have officially wrapped up day 1 filming on Star Wars Episode VIII! I feel this Tweet is worthy of a post as it is the first official completed day for the film. With that awesome teaser trailer from earlier, Episode VIII looks to be off to a great start. We also do know that John Boyega started filming today on Episode VIII. It’s going to be interesting to see how Lucasfilm rolls out information on this film compared to the secrecy of The Force Awakens in the next few months. I would say we can expect a full on trailer this November, similar to The Force Awakens teaser trailer from November 2014.
